"POEMS by LAURENCE BINYON" A beautiful full Morocco leather binding created by Morley. The book was published by the Daniel Press in an edition limited to only 200 copies.
An elegant binding, lovely in its simplicity.
BOSWELL'S "THE LIFE OF SAMUEL JOHNSON" . The famous edition edited by John Wilson Croker. There are critics who disagree with his editing decisions. Nevertheless, it was a magnificent undertaking and represents one of the key landmarks in English literature.
This set is one of the loveliest I have seen and was exceptionally well preserved.
The rare third edition of the Works of Bobby Burns, published in 1803. Very nice. This set found its way back to bonnie auld Scotland.
Lewis Carroll's "Alice in Wonderland" has been published by many publishers and in many formts. This is a nice example of an inexpensive reprinter's approach to presenting an attractive dust-jacket. Colorful and lively. Donohue Publishing Co. issued books from the final years of the Nineteenth Century well into the first half of the Twentieth Century. this copy was published circa 1938.

This beautiful book collects the entire corpus of Lord Lytton's poetry . It is one of the loveliest examples of ornate trade bindings I have seen.
